HI! my name is Terry and I just love to crochet. I never tried knitting and looks hard to do but I bought myself the deluxe knitting machine but have not used it yet. Does anyone have one? Is it worth it and is it hard to use ? I am 58 years old and I suffer from chronic back neck and back pain and I feel that I am living in hell. I cannot do much of anything anymore but thank God for crocheting. It takes my mind off my pain and keeps me busy.I find the more I do the better I get and you tube is great when I need help. thanks for listening

    Hi and welcome Terri!

I haven't been here too long myself, but find everyone here is very friendly and willing to share info and ideas.

Sorry about your health issues. Chronic pain must be so hard to live with. My hubby is 88 and has arthritis. He is so sweet, and hardly ever complains, but I know he has some really hard days.

I'm glad crochet helps you keep your mind occupied. That's the wonderful thing about a hobby you enjoy, you can focus on it and let everything else go for a while.

    Again, welcome to the forum.

PS I'm with you about knitting. My daughter knits up a storm, but doesn't crochet. I tried knitting, but just didn't like it. Sometimes people do both, but it seems they usually like either just one or the other.

    Hello,

Welcome to the forums! I personally have not used a knitting machine. I am curious as to how easy they are to use. I have tried to learn knitting, but not with much success. :0(

Glad you joined us and look forward to hearing more from you! :0)

Territruilli, I don't have one of those machines but they sound like fun and yes, thank goodness for crocheting.
Cherokeebeadwoman, and Territruilli, howdie, welcome and happy crocheting.
