Working in white
I usually like to work with a lot of bright colors, but I am working my current project in Red Heart Super Saver aran so that the texture and the design created by it can be seen. I miss my colors like crazy, but it has still been a lot of fun. You can read the latest installment in my blog that details how I got to this point:

Hello,
Your pet mat on your blog is the cutest thing! I absolutely love it! Thank you for sharing!

I love the texture on that piece. It makes it very interesting visually.

That's a really cool design! It'd make a lovely afghan in pale shades.

Hi Crochetbug, I am much like you in that I like using lots of pretty colors, it is just more fun to work on for me. However I do like your white textured work. It is very nice, I love textured afghans. I do use a lot of white in the granny square lapghans that I make for donations I think it makes the colors really pop.
Happy hooking

Hi Crochetbug,
That is very nice indeed!
I've been using a spool of cotton in encru to make face and back scrubbers for Christmas and really enjoyed working with that color. I paired the facial scrubber with some honey and oatmeal soap and the back scrubber with soap on rope made with clove and cinnamon and honey (manly, yes, but I like it too!)
I like this color --especially for summer and plan to make more things out of it.

I love using white in baby afghans because it suits boys or girls and for every occasion. Attached different color of ribbon to change the season or occasion.
