I'm new to this forum, and fairly new (as an adult) to crocheting. I'm learning a lot, but would still consider myself a beginner for the most part. I am excited to learn more about reading patterns and diagrams and would love any advice on that subject!

I am in the middle of making a prayer shawl and I love the way it's turning out so far. I bought a book at Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago and I love every one of those shawls and plan to try to make one of each.

I have two adult children and no grandchildren (but hope to some day if my kids will cooperate!). I do have four grand-dogs! I'm getting married in May and am looking forward to those festivities!
