crocheting with arthritis
Hi, my name is kathy, I have degenerative arthritis in my wrists, are there any videos that show how to crochet in better positions so that pain is minimized?

Hi, Kathy and Welcome!!
I have health problems that affect my hands also, I use an ergonomic crochet hook holder, if was a gift to me but I have seen it at Walmart. It makes a huge difference for me! I am sure there are videos, someone will come along with that info.
Happy Crafting,
Landon

I have a ergonomic crochet hook holder I got it at walmart for about $3, my aunt used Polymer clay and made her own grip for the needles she uses most

Hi, I'm Caro. Glad you could join us. I also have arthritis, neuropathy in my hands. Along with ergonomic crochet hooks, you might try the gloves they have. I'm going to get some. You also could try placing a firm pillow in your lap to rest your forarms on that might take some strain off your hands. Good Luck, Caro

Glad you could join us. If anyone can find you the videos you need someone from the group probably can. I have a touch of arthritis myself but nothing major. Hope you enjoy being a member.
