Hello crocheters,

I have been crocheting for years, but have started again plus counted cross stitch, knitting, embroidery and sewing quilts.

None of my work is fancy just plain/simple and fast as most are given to charity. I love crafts and my house shows it! Been there done that with children so now it is my turn to do what is enjoyable to me!

Have 4 grands and only one GD loves crafts. Working on others without success so far. Hubby does his own thing so we are compatible!

Love to hear from others who are enjoying the retired years.

Hey Crabtree and welcome to the group! I'm not new to crochet either, but I've only been a member here since last Dec. Your post made me laugh, my house also looks like a crafter lives here LOL. And I can relate to you feeling like it's finally "your time" to do the things you love doing. I'm still working full-time, am 49, my 2 boys are both away at college and yes, it's finally momma's time to take a break from all the work that comes with raising our kids. I'm loving every minute of it too!

All of you ladies or gents sounds wonderful with crocheting crafts. Thanks for the warm welcome and I hope to chat, learn and maybe tell you what works for me in crocheting. I basically taught myself so some of my ways to crochet may not be helpful, but it gets the job done.
