Sometimes yarn breaks or get hosed up and the manufacturer just cuts it and ties a knot. All you can do is cut the knot out and start over with the yarn as if you were changing colors. If you can make this happen at en of a row, weaving in the ends is less noticeable. I just learned a new technique called a Russian join which doesn't need ends woven in. You can search Knittingparadise.com for Russian join, they have pictures. Some skeins of yarn are full of knots and it drives me crazy. Has anybody come across brands of yarn that are full of knots? Please share so we can avoid them.

Howdie, and welcome first of all, sometimes if you can get the knot to go into the stitch (double crochet) it usually blends in...with thread it does for me anyway...hope this helps.

    Hello,

Welcome to the group! I just read a thread on knots that had a link to the Red Heart site. Did you see this one?
