I am a self taught crocheter and knitter and have been doing so since I was seven years old. I enjoy all the forms of needle work except that I have been unable to teach myself to tat. I can't seem to get the hang of that. I crochet for self, friends, and charity. I like crocheting for babies best I think--probably because it goes so fast. Right now, I'm making an afghan (granny) of my own design for a friend. After that, I have a shawl and a poncho to finish knitting and, in the mean time, I am crocheting hats with another local group I attend. We do them for charity mostly.
