    Self taught crocheter

Hi everyone I am an empty nester now, and have taught myself how to crochet via the internet, so far I like crocheting dish clothes, beanies, and just completed my first clothing piece of a little girls dress...looking for more patterns and new crochet friends

Ahhhh, I'm thinking back to when I first learned to crochet, no Internet back then, only books which didn't always get written well. I did a lot of frogging on my first afghan, but it finally got finished, not necessarily done right, but I use it a lot on my first born. It was suppose to be a ripple done with HDC, it ended up the largest fan shaped thing I had ever seen. I learned the importance in counting....never forgot that lesson....lol. I finally got it figured out.

So all you new crocheters, be very glad we now have Youtube to help teach us different stitches and projects, it's so much easier that way.

    Fun times.
