At my age, it's always fun to find something that I have never done before. That becomes harder and harder the older I get, but this is one of my firsts. I have never taken part in a crochet forum before today. I'm looking forward to sharpening my skills through the posts and advice of people with much more crochet experience than I have.

For the past few years, doilies were the only thing that I crocheted. I notice that crocheted shirts are becoming popular again, but the prices are way more expensive than what making one would cost. I used to crochet outfits back in the 1960's, and now I'm going to try it again--well, the top anyway. Since I'm in my mid-sixties now, I wouldn't look too swift in a crocheted skirt. LOL
I'm sure that I will be asking some questions here after I get started because so much time has passed.
