    Hi, excited to be here

    Hi, I am a mother of 6 , 5 living, they are grown, and a mamawnana of 7, 6 living. I am a 9 year colon cancer survivor and a 4 year breast cancer survivor. I am disabled, I worked as a LPN, and loved my job. I have RSD in my Right leg which is very painful, especially at night, so I sam on comp a lot at night. I recently started crocheting, about 2 to 3 months ago. I love it!!!! I have made 2 pot holders, 1 dishrag, 1 pointy ripple afghan for grandbaby and another wave ripple afghan for grandbaby, and now working on another afghan at a much slower pace, and enjoying myself more. I want to learn new things. I am so excited!! .

    I am Landon, a newbie at crocheting too!

    WOW! You have already made some afghans! I have made several dishtowels, a bunch of potholders, 5 caps and 2 scarves. Believe me, before I joined this forum I was struggling with making even squared dishtowels. I have learned and learn daily tips and all sorts of great feedback. I LOVE it here! I have made some of the dearest friends I have ever had.
    I have a blog I write for newbies, I have very detailed out instructions with lots of pictures. I am in the process of buying a camcorders to make video tutorials for lefties and righties.
