I'm a newbie

hello everyone ... just want to say hello and so happy I have found this site. When my mom was still with us I used to watch her knit and crochet all the time. I learned how to do both in home economics class at school and enjoyed them both. Now that I'm a grandmother I would like to take up the hobbie. I'd like to start with crocheting some slippers. I found some ankle slippers while surfing but it was on another site ... if anyone has a nice pattern for these slippers I would really appreciate you letting me know where to find it.

Welcome to the group! It is nice to meet you! Hope you enjoy the forums! Have you tried searching slipper/slippers in the search box in the upper right hand corner? There is a thread that has I think about 15-25 slipper patterns, but maybe some others...
