    2nd try!

    Hi All,
I'm a newbie corcheter, just taught myself this summer. I hope to learn some more on this forum! Seems that knitting is hot where I live but not crocheting so I am unable to find any lessons for someone that already knows the basics.
    Here's my most ambitious project:

and here is a pattern I created for a fundraiser (it's a cotton dishcloth)

You designed the second picture and you are self-taught??

Ya wanna see some of my early work, I am self-taught myself.

I bought a crochet kit from Walmart and I was leaving out entire step, LOLOL I have those pieces on my wall to the left of where I sit when I am on the computer or working. I keep them as a reminder of how far I have come. I have learned a ton on here, much more than I would have ever done on my own.

    Happy Crafting,
    Landon

Landon has come very far and she is helping others with detailed instructions on her blog. It is on her post in smaller light blue letters. Check it out and see how much she has learned. Your work doesn't look like a beginner. You did a great job. welcome

Hi Val, no I purchased the pattern on Ravelry. There are 2 patterns to purchase, one for adults and one for babies.

Wow!! you are surly gifted.. My daughter was too. when she started, her first project was a bed doll and it was beautiful too. She caught on so fast. Thank you for sharing. I just love the dishcloth.
