    Hi Everyone!

I am new to crochettalk and new to crochet! I have made a couple blankets and was looking online for a forum because I am stumped with my directions for the new blanket I am starting.

sk next ch, dc in next ch, dc in sk ch - does that mean I dc in the previous chain I skipped, or the space created?

Thanks so much for your help and I am looking forward to participating in the boards!

    Naadirah

Welcome to the crochet forums! I have to admit, that I do better watching videos in learning stitches. Someone will be able to help you that does well with these kind of questions! Be patient and someone will help you!

Yes. It is a cross-stitch. It will look like an "X". You skip a st, work next st, then cross back and work the skipped st.
