Looking for a pattern & hello

Hello, I am new to Crochet Talk and am excited I have found other people who love to Crochet like I do. I am looking for a pattern called Optical Illiusions Afghan. It reminds me of a heart beat. The pattern looks something like this when completed ...|...|...| Does anyone have this pattern, my husbands grandmother used to do it and showed me how once, but I can't remember. Thanks for the help.

Welcome to the forums! It is nice to have you here with us! I have an idea in my head what you may be looking for, but have not found anything that looks kinda like a heart beat. I will keep my eye out though and maybe someone else has some ideas, too.

I think Barbara's link is closer to what you want than the one I posted. I did also find this one but it is a paid pattern.

The pattern that is from Armybrat that is in multiple colors is the one I am looking for, does anyone have that pattern. Money is quite tight right now so I can't buy it. I would really appreciate the help. Thanks. ElaineB.
