New crochet Nana- My name is Elaine

Hi I'm new to this I just started today, I'm not an experienced crocheter, I'm more of a knitter, but would like to be more experienced crocheter. Does anyone have any ideas how to do this, I guess simple, easy projects are best, and the more you do, the better you get.

    Hello,

Welcome to the group! I find it easier to watch crochet videos on simple stitches and projects in the beginning. Then, work my way into doing more advanced projects! Glad you are here!

Hello Elaine!!! I have been crocheting for almost 30 years, and can honestly say I've learned more in just the last 2 by watching the videos on Youtube. My Personal Advice: It's always okay to rip it out and rip it out and rip it out...you get the picture!!!

Hi, I find I can learn more from reading patterns, most patterns have the directions to the different stitches, I started with simple things and have worked up, still learning new things all the time. I guess I am a little long winded, lol, but welcome to the group.
