Newbie

Hi everyone,

I am new indeed. Teaching myself to crochet from books and you tube. Sometimes you just need to "talk" to someone to figure things out. My biggest difficulty is figuring out exactly what kind of yarn to pick out outside the "typical name brand" listed (some yarns must be interchangeable, right?)

Anyway, nice to be here, thanks in advance for your help.

Jeanette, there are a lot of experienced crocheters that will be glad to help with any problem. A lot of yarns are interchangeable. I have a list and I'll look it up and post the link tomorrow. Too tired to get up tonight but I''l be better tomorrow. Someone may be more ambitious than me and will post it before tomorrow.

Jeanette, I am a newbie here as well. I bought everything just learning to chain stitch. I have enjoyed reading the posts here, I hope to be half as good as some of the others one day.
