Where do you find starch (not spray)
Hi, I am PhyllisV. I read a conversation a few days ago the liquid starch (not spray) was better than glue & water or sugar & water. But where do you find starch, I can find only spray starch, and it doesn't starch crochet xmas ornaments stiff enough to use.

It's been a while since i bought it but it used to be in the grocery store near the laundry soap and bleach. It might look blue or milky blue thru the bottle, but it dries white.

I used spray starch last time , maybe i couldn't find it then. I just put the snowflake on a plastic plate and sprayed to soak it ,both sides. then i use a piece of styrofoam (from something that was mailed us) to pin it to to block it. Dried overnite. yeah it wasn't real stiff, like i remember the old starch was.

To make crochet ornaments real stiff, there is a product 'Stiffy' you can get at craft supply stores, Wal Mart, Michaels, Joann's fabric. In Michaels, its in the 'Glues' section.
