Hi! BarbySue, I subscribe to other crocheting websites and have learned a lot from the younger folks through their tutorials. I, also, make baby hats and donate them to a hospital where babies are born and I've been doing this since 1994. I've made a few thousand baby hats and blankets during this time.

I've thought about doing the same thing but with baby blankets as I have never tried to make a hat before. I zoom through a blanket and they are pretty good size. My only concern is if they would have a reaction to the acrylic in the fiber or something of that nature. I don't know what my problem is with making a hat, I should just quit being a big baby and just jump in and do it shouldn't I??
