New to Crochet Talk
Hi,
My name is Carla and I'm new to this or any crochet forum. I started crocheting last summer when I saw a crocheted flying disk that I wanted to make for the kids I work with in a before and after school program. I used a fuzzy multicolored yarn and the flying disk came out beautifully and it was fun to play with. I also love all the crocheted animals I've seen, though I have not tried one yet.
Right now I'm working on a case for my sister's tai chi ruler but am having trouble with the size of the case and the tightness of the stitch, as well as, the wild yarns my sister picked out. I'm looking for a loose stitch that I can use to make a tubular case about 14 inches long and 2 inches around and I am using a varied width acrylic yarn. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.
