    Cool I'm a "newbie"

    Hello from sunny California.

    This is my first visit to Crochet Talk. I realy like to crochet and I thought I'd join so I can talk to people that share the same hobby, or obsession as my family so thoughtfully calls it.

    I'm happy to be in the company of people who can answer any questions I may have about my current project.

    First off, let me thank all of you for making me feel welcome. I think I'll realy like this forum. I like to crochet anything from blankets to childrens toys. I have been on a winter hat making campaign lately. I felt the need to create a hat for all my children as well as the greats. I think my next project will be an afghan or beadspread. Still looking for paatterns.

    I'm making hats for my 5 grandchildren for Christmas! I'm also making them sweaters for their birthdays-one for October is done! Need 1 for Nov. and 3 for Jan!
