Looking for pattern for newborn Turtle photo prop set
Hi, I am new here and learning how to navigate "on a forum" . I want to make a Turtle Outfit for new baby arriving in Dec. Thankful for any help at all. I have been crocheting for almost 40 years. I love it, great stress relief with wonderful results!

I've never seen a turtle outfit for a newborn, but here is an Idea for one. could you crochet a cocoon for a newborn and for the back crochet a eggshape (2 pcs) in single crochet and after sewing it together ( leave a opening) stuff it lightly ( not enough to make it uncomfortable for baby) then add that shell to the back of the cocoon and crochet a little hat to go with it. Its just an Idea. the cocoons are so easy. now you got me thinking. I've got to try it myself when I find the time. right now I'm working on one of those football cocoons. good luck!! Please show pictures when your done, would love to see it..

THANKS to everyone who offered help ! I ended up making my baby turtle prop using a basic baby beanie hat pattern and making the "shell" using the pattern for the Africa Flower motifs. I think it worked out very nice. I don't know how to upload the picture on here to share it with you.
