Ran out of thread....have to wait until Monday...

Yeah I was going to make my daughter a welcome to our home curtain but she didn't care for a curtain, so decided to make a curtain anyway but for my kitchen. But sadly I ran out of thread and my coupon doesn't go into effect until tomorrow and I mostlikely can't go to Micheal's until Monday...so what's a gal to do? BAKE something! Since it is cooling down a bit I decided to try a skillet bread in my crock pot...here's hoping it comes out OK...

Hmm...never tried skillet bread in the crockpot. I love using my crockpot but have been kinda lazy about using it lately. Maybe need to take some time coming up to look at some new recipes to try.

I've never tried to use a crock pot. Most of the time I'll make up a double or triple batch of whatever meal and put the extra servings in the freezer for another day.

My crockpot came out the other day! We had our first frost two nights ago, so I celebrated with a nice stew with Fall veggies!
