Unhappy Seeking Vintage Yarn: Sayelle marled red/yellow/blue/green

Yarn no longer made. The different colors strands were wound to make a very colorful yarn. It is NOT A VARIGATED yarn fading from one color to another.
Needed to finish a WIP/UFO [afghan] begun long ago.

    Info copied from yarn label:

"Quaker Yarns" Beneath that was a piture of 2 supposedly Quaker men with a shield between them with the words "Quality Yarns"
SAYELLE TWEED, Color, TW 6 3664
    4-Ply Dye Lot [none indicated]
    DuPont 100% Orlon Acrylic Fibre
    Machine Washable
    Machine Dryable
    Non-Allergenic
    Resists Pilling
    Mothproof
GAUGE: 5 sts = 1" on No 8 needles or any size that gives above guage
    Weight: 3-1/2 Ounces
    New York, N.Y.

I'll try to find a url for you, but if I can't you might try this. Google the yarn and hopefully you will find what I did when I searched for a different Sayelle rcently just out of curiosity. I landed on a site that carried discontinued yarn including Sayelle. Good luck!

I have been searching and coming up empty handed. I would keep an eye on eBay and search occasionally their yarn listings. Maybe, you will be able to find some soon.

About the only thing I can suggest is that you post watch on ebay for the yarn.

If you can post the actual yarn name, colour number and manufacturer, I MAY be able to find it from one of the discontinued yarn sites.

Thanks. BUT I've already been to dozens of disconitnued yarn sites to no avail. I've watched eBay, but so far, nothing.

I've checked with all of my sources (including may vintage dealers) and none have any of this in stock.

However, they will let me know if they come across any.

About the only way I think you'll find it is if someone sees your post and happens to have it in their personal stash.

I agree. thanks for trying to help!
It may be in someone's stash and they're willing to sell it. I've just about decided to get some Bright Red to do the joining sections and put the marled yarn to another use.
I hate to abandon hope because I think it would be such a cheery blankie with the marled yarn.
    Sniff! Sniff! Sniff!
