    Red face Introducing myself!!!

    Hello Everyone!
My name is Scherri! I'm glad to be here! I have been crocheting now for about 3 years. My mother was an avid crocheter and her forte was doilies. She tried to teach me when I was younger, but didn't latch on saying when I get to the rocking chair stage of my life I will learn..... Well, I lost my beloved Mother 11 years ago and she left afew unfinished projects behind (doilies-of course!) So I felt inspired to pick up a crochet hook and learn. Since then, I have crochet oodles of baby hats for the hospital newborns, and afghans and have tried my hand at doilies. I still need to get better before I attempt my Mom's.

    Hi, Scherri and Welcome!!

I am Landon and am glad to see you here! I am new to crocheting myself. Doilies are gorgeous, aren't they? I haven't tried any of those yet.
If you have any pictures of your work we'd love to see them!! We love pictures!

    Happy Crafting,
    Landon

Welcome Scherri and look forward to getting to know you. My GM could see a lovely doily at a friends and go home
and crochet it without a pattern. I don't have her talent.

Hi Scherri, I am Bonnie. I am new also. I have been crocheting forever, but I still get stuck on some patterns and need help. I like to make doilies, dolls and doll clothes and anything that might be a challenge to finish, like afghans!

    Good morning,

We are glad you are here with us. Sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. The nice thing is that when you crochet, I am sure it will bring back positive memories of times you have spent with her. Glad you are here!
