    children soap bags

I am looking for soap bag patterns using no.10 cotton or mercerized cotton. I have found a turtle and a fish. I made some using peaches and cream cotton, but they took for ever to dry! Thanks!

You can use the same pattern for the peaches and cream yarn...it will just be smaller....I believe you should still be able to put a reg size soap as long as you don't have too tight of tension....hope this helps....

    Donna,

I have been searching and not coming up with much. We do have several members who do alot of projects with crochet thread number 10, so maybe they will have some ideas for us. Thanks for your patience!

I wondered about this, too. I was not sure what size hook was used in the regular pattern, though.

Barbara, I usually use a size three steel hook. That helps w/ tight tension and making the project larger...

You can use just about any pattern that calls for Peaches and Cream yarn with the #10 thread. Simply make sure that you use a larger steel hook and do a gauge swatch to make sure that its going to be the right size.
