Crochet Beanie Hat With Ear Flaps

Hi everyone, this is a double crochet hat with ear flaps and ties. I used red heart super saver yarn. I had a request to make this style of a hat with the local high school colors.

While I don't care for the colors I understand requests! I haven't added ear flaps to beanies but I bet my granddaughter would like them. As always good work!

thanks twinfaye, i do not like the colors either, but all of the young kids are requesting these beanies with the ear flaps where i live at. red heart now has a different line of yarn with team colors, it is a varigated yarn!

Yeah, I saw that yarn but I don't have anyone that wants a team color. I thought my son would like it but says he has all the afghans he can use. I'm going to see if my granddaughter wants a hat like that.
