Red face Hi I'm From Texas

I have just come across this site and I am looking for Filet Crochet. Did one & it turned out beautiful. Not that I'm a good crochter but the pattern was so pretty
You don't see much in this particular kind, (Filet) Books are hard to find so I have been surfing the net to find this kind of pattern.

Howdie and welcome; sometimes you can use 'simple' cross stitch patterns and convert them to filet crochet....

    Hello,

Welcome to the group! I believe we do also have some links on site for filet crochet of some sort. If you need anything in particular, please let us know in the pattern request thread. Thank you!

boydsnest-Caro from Iowa-I have been getting old issues of Magic Crochet and Decorative Crochet on ebay. These are out of print magazines that have great thread patterns. You can sometimes get several issues for not a lot of money, just watch the shipping charges.. Both of these mags have written AND charted patterns, also beautiful photos. Also, try your local library, if they don't have any books, they might be able to get them for you at another library. Good luck and welcome!

Hello, I am also from Texas . Did you try looking in JoAnn's fabric and craft stores ? I bought a book there just just a week or so ago about filet crochet . Hobby Lobby might also have them in their yarn section . JoAnn's has a big selection of different crochet books from beginners to advanced in skill. Hope this helps you some .
