Hello all, My mother started me on crocheting years ago. She used to make booties and layette items for friends. I did doilies and granny squares and crocheted rugs mostly. Now I am crocheting and knitting prayer shawls with two other ladies. I am just learnig to knit. I had a rug loom before having to move to an apartment and loved weaving rag rugs. I love the colors and testures of various yarns. I'm a run of the mill crocheter. But I enjoy it.
