    Rita

I am 66 yrs. old. I am retired hairdresser. I use to crochet many years ago. Want to start again. Would love to make a prayer shawl and some dishrags. Hope to get some help here.

    Hi Rita!
Welcome to the group! I've learned a lot since I started on this forum. If you can't find an answer just ask. Somebody usually comes up with an answer/solution.

Click on this link and it will take you to a thread in this forum where Barbara posts several links to patterns for prayer shawls
    http://crochettalk.com/main/212-prayer-shawl.html

    Kaisensi http://crochettalk.com/pictures/317-easy-shawls.html
shows pictures of shawls she made in the thread above that she says are very easy

Dishrags I think you could make out of whatever stitch you wanted and would be the easiest. I've been looking on ebay at them and they are 12 x 12 made out of different stitches, a lot of time in variegated thread.

Ha! just found a whole page of dishcloth and wash cloth patterns, lol! This will keep you busy. hee, hee
