    Grocery List

I don 't know about anyone else, but I will make a grocery list and then forget it at home. Then I wind up getting stuff I don't need and forgetting things that I do need. I think I have found a solution. I started putting my grocery list into the message section of my phone. As I come across things I need, I just add them. As I do not leave the house without my phone, my list is always with me. That way, I won't forget anything and will have less tendancy to get what I don't need. When finished, just delete. It seems to be working for me

I put my grocery list, coupons and car keys in a baggie in the fridge...I can't go without keys, (at least not yet..lol)....if I need to remember to take prepared food that needs refrigeration (ie: deviled eggs for a party), or take home leftovers, I do the same thing...put the drivers keys in the fridge.I have enough trouble getting everything on a list on the fridge as the week goes along, electronically challenged me would never get it on my dinosaur phone...feel free to LOL...my family does, frequently and good-heartedly, my "sometimers" is becoming "frequenters".

I've found that keeping a running list on the fridge works for me. If I finish something it automatically goes on the list. That way when it comes to going to the market the list is ready.

No car keys for me... I simply hop on my scooter and go!

Hi! Sounds like a good solution to me! Except, I don't have a fancy phone and I don't think the cord on my phone will be long enough! We don't have any cell service in our area so there doesn't seem to be a reason to get a cell phone! I keep a list on my fridge of what I need And my husband goes with me-if I don't remember the list he will-at least most of the time!!

I love the idea. My lists tend to be really long because I try to go just once or twice a month. I'll give it a try though.

Some of you are very organized. I forget my lists all the time. Sometimes at home, sometimes in the car. One thing I never forget though is my phone. I think this will work out just great for me.

in my home we do a few things.......and I still forget! Like many of you have mentioned, we keep a list going on the frig. The main drawback of this system comes down to two words: teenage sons! They eat like crazy and rarely remember to write down what they used up. It does serve as a good lesson though. When they find we are out of a favorite snack I just ask, "Did you write it on the list?" However this lesson is limited. LOL They learn to write down their favorite junk foods and forget to mention we're out of bread.

Something I have found really helpful is having a master list of the basic things I like to keep stocked- toilet paper, cereal, flour, etc. I run through this list and it serves as a reminder of items I might not have remembered to add to the frig list.

I also have used many of the suggestions as the rest of you to try not to forget things. While I don't often forget my phone or my list, though, I have yet to find a way to keep from losing my mind!

My list is generally long because I only go shopping once or twice a month also. As i run out of something, into the phone it goes.

I don't have trouble forgetting things I need as I tend to buy the same things each month.. I forget the things I don't buy often like baking supplies...I have tried using a list and it gets left behind or I forget it is in my purse lol.
