fawnwoman, I have found the video tutorials on youtube to be beyond price. There are several stitches I've tried for years to figure out from written instructions, and behold these videos show you exactly where to put your hook or needle. For starters try mikeyssmail (Crochet Crowd) and bobwilson123, they present very well. Good luck!

I like to crochet almost anything, Mostly afghans, dishcloths, pot holders, kitchen towels, :rayer shawls, scarfs, hats, etc. I don't crochet clothes though. Thank you for the welcome.

I wish I could do that. I love doilies and the stuff made out of crochet thread. I have a hard time crocheting with cotton thread. I know you make beautiful stuff. You will have to post a picture of one of your projects.
