Thumbs up how badly do I want that coupon?

Just saw an Internet ad for getting coupons for Joann's, so I responded. Then I get screens asking for responses to other offers, going to school, etc., etc.
I decided I don't want a coupon that badly...going through that other garbage first. Oh well!

I couldn't agree w/ you more! Yes, that coupon is the jack pot but come on! My hubby has helped me see that sometimes I'm not SAVING as much as I think I am...so if it's more hassel (working for it is just fine...winks) then yup, no thanks I'll wait for the sale....

For me, it depends on where you are getting the coupon from. Some sites will do exactly as you said and it is merely a marketing tool to get more info from you. Now, if the coupon came from Joann's website without any strings...then I would go for it!

I signed up to receive Joann's sale paper in the mail, so I always have a coupon!

I agree. It's just a lure to get you to get other things and strings you along until you don't even remember why you opened the site in the first place. I see them and hit 'delete'.

I rarely click on those websites because it takes sooooo long to get to what you originally went for! Too much spam for my liking.

    It WAS a Joann's coupon...unfortunately, not direct.

I've seen other offers for things where you need to submit your cell- phone number, and wait for them to send you a passcode...I'm not going to give them my cell-phone number and have it sold to more tele-marketers! So...Click/escape. I'll do without...and I too signed up for Joann's mailings. So much easier.

That's one of the primary reasons that I don't offer coupons in my shop. Its much easier for the customer to simply make their purchase and check out without coupons!
