Cool Hi!! from Smith Mountain Lake,Va!

I have been crocheting for as long as I can remember...about 55 yrs!! My grama taught me at her knee. Of course I crochet "backwards" according to Grama because I learned by watching.
I make cuddlesacks and blankets for the local NICU unit. I'm looking for sizes for 12 oz-1 1/2 # babies. Anyone out there who can help? I had a 3# baby and have that size down.

    Hello,

Welcome to the group! It is great to have you here! Have you thought about cutting your pattern in half, if the multiples allow you to? I will also look for some other options for you as well. Glad you are here!

Larisa that's NOT unfortunate! You have a specialty....and that's doilies...and what if one joins a number of 'doilies' and makes a cute blanket?....

I would look for 'preemie' doll clothes. If you check out allfreecrochet.com you will find things for tiny preemies. Especially the cocoons with matching hats. Very cute. Hope this helps.

Hi Barb! I have gone all the way to 1/3 in scale. I have tried doll clothes. I try to stay away from anything with sleeves. Right now I'm making buntings that are 12-18" x 18-24" rectangles. Parents need to be able to see the child completely. How do you insert photos? I'll put some up.Thanx auntkerry
