Translate to English from which languages and would that be a witten pattern or oral (as in video) or even a chart ?

Hello DorisAnn, I agree with you that the pattern instructions are lost in translation unless you are fluent in all languages and terms. I tried Google translate for a knitting pattern once and I got back some crazy instructions. For PASSO, K1, P1, SSK instructions. It was fun but no help at all. I don't have too much trouble with videos as you can see what the person is doing. The only problem I have in those videos is how many stitches you start with or what is the multiple as I don't speak that language. Originally Posted by DorisAnn
