Help! Please help identify the stitch on Poppy's thread in the Introduction Forum

The baby is due in February and Poppy needs our help to identify the stitch in the pattern in the picture.

She has the yarn. Now just needs the pattern!

Sorry, lol! I guess that would help:

    Baby afghan pattern

I want to know if anyone has the pattern for Mary Maxim's 'Playful Colors Blanket'? They won't seel the pattern until all their kits are sold. I have the yarn and do not wish to order the kit. Aside fom that, I really love the stitch. Following is the link to the kit.

Maybe a very experianced crochetter can figure out the stitch from the picture. Please share if that is the case.

    Hello,

I have been looking for a similar stitch, and am not the most experienced. Here is a link to the popcorn stitch which is very similar. I will also continue to look around.

    Hello again,

I just posted this link in the resources because it talks about different types and techniques of crocheting. The funny thing is I think it is the same stitch you are looking for on the border of the blog page.
