    Frogging

Hey, I am new to this site. However I am a long-time crocheter. I recently came across a pattern I am really looking forward to completing. In a lot of post attached to this pattern I see comments about having to "frog" a row. I don't know what that means. Can anybody help?

Hello and welcome to the crochet forums! Frogging is a slang term used in crochet meaning to "rip" or "undo" the stitches again and again.

Here is an article you might enjoy about frogging in crochet :

Thanks, Barbara. I have crocheted for 40 or so years and have not heard this term until this pattern. It is a very intricate pattern and must have a lot of people "frogging."
