hello
I am a mother of four. My oldest will be 21 this year and my youngest will be 15 at Christmas. I have been crocheting for about 5 years. I work as an aid at our middle school. I was once told I couldn't crochet on my breaks if the kids could see me. The principal thought I was a bad influence to the children. He is no longer our principal and now I can crochet whenever I get a chance. I am looking for a pattern for a baby blanket that has a butterfly on it. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

hello and welcome, that person was not too into teaching I guess. I don't understand how you could have been a bad influence.
Happy Crocheting

Hi! And welcome! We have an ongoing thread on this site where we have been discusing crocheting being a lost art and the next generation is not into crocheting! The attitude of your former principal seems to support this-unfortunately! I'm glad you are able to crochet now! And I'm glad you joined us!
