    help please

Im making "Simply Shawl" its a Caron free patteren. The finished measurements are approx. 25x68. I have 10 rows and its approx 18 inchesd long. It does have a three row border I get that. I went to caron.com and looked for some kind of comment, nothing. There is a blog space but no were to type in patteren name to ask help. Maybe I went to the wrong spot I don't know. The patteren printed out a nice picture but what I have doesn't seem long enough. Can any one help I need to make four of these.

    Hello,

If your pattern does not seem long enough and you have not done the border yet - you should be able to continue with the basic pattern making it as long as you desire. Then you can finish it with adding the border to it. This is the nice thing about working on scarves, shawls, ect.

On this site at the bottom, there is a contact us link which you can click on if you still feel the need to.

I love that shawl too! Maybe I'll have to make it for myself!

If you've only done 10 rows and already have 10" completed, I would think that your gauge is off.

Did you check your gauge before you started?

Rather than tear it back now, why not just continue working until its the length you want it to be and the put the border on it?
