    Best find ever

I went out shopping with my fiance and we went in salvation army (kinda like goodwill) and they had 1 small basket full of yarn, 1 slightly larger sized tub full of yarn, and a large basket full of yarn. I dug down and grabbed one Red Heart super saver "Pretty n Pink" yarn [744 yards] so excited to get working on the pink blanket! I'm just so excited Walmart never had yarn this big where I am so I figured I'd share that info with all of you.

Sarah! That's great that you found yarn you could use at the Salvation Army! I probably would have bought all of it! As if I need more yarn! Our Salvation Army doesn't usually have any yarn-but that doesn't stop me from going there!

Congrats on such a find! Yes, I've also found that Walmart and the local craft shops really don't carry the full variety that's available any more.

My fiance found the baskets of yarn and told me to get some before they're gone.

We have Goodwill and Salvation Army here as well as a fw other thrift stores. You have to go often to catch the yarn because others are looking for it too but you can find some great deals and unusual colors. And don't forget - it's yard sale season. There's lots to be had if you're willing to go hunting.

Why didn't you buy all they had? It probably would serve you well.

I got what I needed and I told others that needed it. If I had bought it all I would feel greedy lol.
