Help understanding this pattern

I got the chain done and did the first row. When you go from row 1 to row 2 after you chain 3 where is the sc to go? Thank you in advance


Row 1: Sc in 4th ch from hook, [dc in next ch, sc in next
ch] 4 times, dc in last ch.
Row 2: Ch 3, turn, [sc in next sc, dc in next dc] 4 times, sc
in next sc, dc in top of beginning ch.
Repeat Row 2 until piece measures 3” from beginning

I think it would go in the 2nd stitch of the row-it says "in the next stitch sc"...

Thank you very much. My brain only functions some times...lol. I forgot that I was on the other side of the project when I turn it. The sc is one stitch over. This is what happens when you over think.
