thanks allie, i got the pattern off of you tube channel from bobwilson123 and it was "how to crochet an elfin hat", they look great with cotton or acrylic yarn. i used an h crochet hook with all of the elfin hats. you could also put a pom pom or a cork screw embellishment on the ends. happy crocheting!
