New to the group.

I've been looking on this site for a couple years but never could make the registration work. Or how to sign up or contact anyone, but finally did, & good to be on board.

I'm a 42 year crochet'er & just can't quit. I'm 71 now tho & have made afghans all my life - for family members, grands, etc. One left to go & it will be Oreo Cookie afghan. I love that pattern. I love to crochet flowers, squares of all kinds & sizes, made so many animals to sell in my younger years that I don't even like doing them. Right now I'm working on an Ice Cream Pillow (it's round with cone & three dips of ice cream). I love making dishcloths & kitchen towels & washcloths & am into the size & the small amount of time it takes to make them.. Had a severe illness & didn't crochet for about a year. Before that I also crocheted with #10 cotton but as of yet haven't gotten back to it, but plan to soon.

I live in East Texas via Austin--here in a slow movin' relaxed little town. In Senior apartments that are wonderful.

Welcome. I'm making a afghan/blanket for my niece and she wants 3 Greek letters on it. I have the border to do too. She wants to put it on a twin size bed. I'm going to get back to crocheting. Nice to meet you.
