I have been crocheting since I was 12. I sometimes like complicated patterns but most times just look for something I have never seen or that looks new and different to me. Even older patterns can look new and exciting with todays advances in yarn and colors.

I like to crochet mostly afghans, either baby or adult. I have made scarves for the Special Olympics for WI. I too have made doilies, booties, baby sweaters, and could go on. I remember first starting out and would make rugs for my Barbie dolls.........a few holes here or there just added to the pattern at that time.
