    Hello

Just joined the site and am looking forward to talking with everyone. I started crocheting in the 70's but gave it up when work, home, and family became too much. Now that I'm at home, I started again about 3 years ago and haven't slowed down. Always have more projects that are waiting to be done. Love it!

Just what I need, more projects! lol I love doing shawls, especially lace or vintage shawls. I also love to experiment with different yarns and hooks to make patterns my own. What do you like to do?

Hi featherfarm! I like to make things for kids! I have 5 grandchildren that I make things for. And I make dolls, toys and games for children and sell them at Craft Fairs! I love shawls! I made myself one awhile ago and I'm looking for another pattern that I like!

Just finished Midsummer Night shawl from the cover of Interweave Crochet summer '10. I used reclaimed cashmere lace and went with a larger hook and it turned out great! Love making lace patterns. Would love to see some of your toys for boys. Have 2 grandsons.

I have crochet cars for smaller boys. One thing that has sold well to older boys is a small crocheted bag that has marbles in it-and I include how to play marbles. I'm trying a round bag that folds out to a play area that will include small animals or maybe Cowboys and Indians-haven't decided yet! I'll post pictures as soon as I have time!
