Good morning....my name is Wanda and I am 72 years old. I have been crocheting since I was a little girl. I taught myself to crochet from a little green book that my Mom bought me. It cost 10 cents.

I am still having trouble getting the patterns from foreign countries translated. Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks so much and thank you to the women who welcomed me to crochet talk.

I prefer charts. They do not depend on a language. Translation is a hard work.

there are so many beautiful patterns in Japanese and also in Russian but as you suggested the charts would be easier so I am going to try that first. thank you so much. i am so glad to hear from you.
