    Christmas gift I made

Christmas gift I made-image-jpg. I crocheted this granny square afghan for my 7 year old grandaughter. She loved it and now wants to learn how to crochet.

Cool. It's very pretty Sharon. It'll be fun for you when you teach her how to crochet. By the way, Welcome to ct.

Welcome, I love your afghan. I worked in a summer day camp and some of the kids ( had girls and boys) wanted to learn and once they got the chain down, off they went. Very interesting the things they made. One little boy said he couldn't sit still long enough so he just had his grandmom go to thrift stores and bought yarn. And boy was he telling the truth he he.I did use some and made him a snuggle blanket. So enjoy your time its special.

Looks really nice. My granddaughter had me teach her after I used to crochet toys and afghans for her. Doesn't it make you feel good when they want you to teach them.
