My name is Loriann. I stumbled on this site while looking for modified red heart peppermint candy afghan. I was taught to crochet many many years ago by my grandma. I recently got back into it and learning new stitches by tutorials. I am trying to teach myself to knit by not sure how that going to work out. I am looking forward to tips and new projects to try. I also really hoping someone can steer me in right direction for peppermint afghan I found on Pinterest. The original red heart pattern nice but fell in love with modified version.

I think I finally tracked down the pattern. A lot of misinformation out there during my search. It is a Leisure Art pattern. So I can now download the pattern. I not sure when going to be able to start it but excited knowing I will be able to eventually make the afghan. It will probably take me a year to make since don't have much time and still learning some of the stitches.
