New to site.

Hi everyone! I am new to this site however am looking to start using my hands again. I used to love to crochet and knit (crochet was my favorite) however being a work a holic I have not done it in a very long time. I became disabled a few years ago and need to focus my mind on other things since I can't stand or sit for long periods. So here I am. I love quilting but have to do it much more slowly these days. So thats me. Hope to talk to you all soon. I am from Maine.

I'm happy that you're picking up crocheting again. It really is a great therapy, in so many ways. Four years ago, I went through several life trials, all at the same time, and I started crocheting again after many years of raising my 2 boys alone. Making beautiful things helped me to focus on something positive, instead of dwelling on the things I was going through at the time. I've made several very sweet friends here.

Please post photos of the things you make. We always love seeing pictures of the things others have made.
