New to the forum

Hello from KY. I'm new to the site but an old crocheter. My mother taught me the basics many moons ago and I have been "hooked" for over 40 years. I started with scarfs and it went from there. I am currently working on two different afghans. A bobble gan for me and a christening blanket with slanted shell stitches for a future grandchild. When I figure out how I'll post some pics. I wanted to join to be able to learn some new tips or tricks. From what I have read so far everyone seems so helpful and nice.
