I am cindy brown I just joined. I am new to crochet. My friend gave me a bag full of yarn. I have no idea what to with. It is real soft baby type yarn. I have no babies . So maybe I can get some ideas from this site. Cindy

Welcome Cindy! A bag full of yarn? We all love that! What type of things do you like to crochet! You can make just about anything with this yarn-hats, scarves. If you do want to make baby things you could always look into a charity that may need them! Ther are several people here that do that! Have fun with that bag of yarn!

I too am new at this and hope we have lots of fun doing it together !The baby yarn is nice to work with . It will crochet projects like face clothes and light summer shawls that are delcate and sweet looking to wear. There are lots of sites to check out for those types of projects to do that are real easy. google free crochet patterns.....and see what u find. Good luck ! let me know what you find to do . remember, if you have any trouble there are lots of good site that have help too,for starters check out the youtube tutorial (crochet) vidio's They help me a lot !

Hi Cindy! Welcome to the group. If you need any help there's a lot of people here who can help you. If you need patterns, there's also a long list of patterns available here. Just be patient in browsing through and exploring the site. You're lucky to have a bag of yarns. You can do a lot of things with it, but if the skeins are of different colors, then you can always make granny squares or colorful afghans!
